The Illusive Winter Photo Walk

I love winter, generally speaking. I love sitting by the fireplace late into the night, I love the shift to soups and chilli for meals and I love how much more it makes me appreciate my morning coffee. Something I don’t love however is how unmotivating it is when it comes to photography. I just never want to leave the house, walk around and take photos, atleast not unless I am being paid for it… and that’s not healthy, it’s not where I want to be creatively.
Today I had a meeting booked at UNE for the morning, and rather than driving I thought it was warm enough to make the 40 minute walk worth it, and I decided to make it extra worth it I would bring my Canon 200D with the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 for good measure. After all, nobody wants to be walking to a meeting and back with a big set camera set up.
Honestly, I didn’t capture much of note, though I do like the shot of the toy car in the grass quite a bit. Really, it was just nice to get out and about again with the camera, seeing what I could see.
