Workshop: Outdoor Gallery - Student Stop Motion Films 2025
Visitors From Dreams was invited by Tamworth Regional Gallery to conduct a series of school holiday workshops as part of the Two Girls From Amoonguna touring exhibition. Held over two days, the workshops introduced students to the art of stop-motion animation, specifically using paper cut-outs.
Despite the short three-hour timeframe for each session, students formed groups and embraced the challenge of creating their own animated films.
The workshops guided students through story development and introduced them to the fundamentals of stop-motion animation. Most importantly, they discovered that the key skill required for animation is patience.
