When Main Streets Dream

14/08/26

I was invited by Arts North West to have my films “This Shit's for the Birds” and “SB51 Golden Way” screened at a small travelling festival called When Main Streets Dream, which took place in both Tamworth and Armidale over two weekends. There were all kinds of lights and projections, so of course I obliged and thought it would be fun to take my camera along to the event, at least to the Armidale one.

Unfortunately, I missed the screening of my films because I ended up trapped in a busy restaurant waiting for my dinner (the bánh mì was amazing, not sure if it was worth missing the screenings for, though...). But the rest of the festival? Pretty awesome. Beardy Street Mall always delivers the goods for events like this one. Thanks again to Arts North West for inviting me!
