The QUAKE Project
After finishing This Shit's for the Birds, I found myself revisiting an old animation style from the late 2000s and using it to create a series of illustrations inspired by the wonderfully bizarre world of Quake. What began as an idea for an N64-style instruction manual eventually evolved into a collection of clean, geometric character cards.
This Shits For The Birds
Shits for the Birds is my second animated short film commissioned by Tamworth Regional Gallery in 2026, and easily the most personal and political project I’ve made in years. Blending photography, illustration, and animation, it explores the beauty and decline of regional life through the strange relationship between nature, decay, and the places we call home.
Soul Silver Party Project
With a wave of animation projects on the horizon, I’ve started relearning how to draw through a small series of Pokémon SoulSilver-inspired character illustrations. Blending my current style with techniques from my old animation work, the project feels like the first step back into a creative medium I’ve deeply missed.
Sb51 Golden Way
SB51 Golden Way explores the idea of what ghosts do after death, imagining them not as figures tied to a single location but as eternal explorers of the world around them, set against the historic landscape of Hanging Rock in Nundle. Inspired by Australian animation history and the work of Yoram Gross, the short film blends hand-drawn animation with live-action backgrounds to encourage viewers to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the region.
Outdoor Gallery - Student Stories
Visitors From Dreams was once again invited by Tamworth Regional Gallery to conduct a series of school holiday workshops, but rather than focus on groups making stop motion films it was decided that we would let everyone tell their own stories through a series of illustrations.
September Doodles 2025
6 illustrations after a several long hiatus. Feeling rusty, but that hopefully fades with time.
Outdoor Gallery - Student Stop Motion Films 2025
Visitors From Dreams was invited by Tamworth Regional Gallery to conduct a series of school holiday workshops as part of the Two Girls From Amoonguna touring exhibition. Held over two days, the workshops introduced students to the art of stop-motion animation, specifically using paper cut-outs.
Toy Story Replayed / Power Rangers Reanimated
Invited to take part in not one, but two seperate “reanimated” projects, all in a single month.
Doodles April 2025
Wrapping up April with 10 illustrations. Memes, games and animated kids films all featuring this month.
