I have a longer short film shoot planned for this year called Trolley Town, and it’s a project I want to shoot with two specific pieces of vintage glass from the late ’60s and early ’70s. While I’ve been taking photos with these two lenses for a couple of years, I hadn’t actually tried shooting video with them, so I needed a smaller, bite-sized project to get an idea of how they perform in that context. I think they’ll do the trick, though I definitely need to get some step-up rings so I can use an ND filter with them. What better excuse to whip them out for a test than making jam for the first time?
