STORIES: VOL I
03/04/26
In the last few days before the end of daylight saving, I thought I might try doing something a little different with my photography. I decided to shoot with my phone, which might not sound like a big deal to most people, but it’s something I usually only use to document things like posters or quick moments.
I thought it would be fun to call the series Stories, as that’s the only place they were originally posted—my Instagram Stories—but I’ve included them here in my journal as well for posterity. I was only just starting to get into it before daylight saving ended, and now there’s little to no mood during my 5:30am walks, though that should change as the days get shorter.
Maybe when I pick it back up again, I’ll bring my everyday carry (the Canon 200D with the EF-S 24mm f/2.8) so I can feel a little less dirty taking what can best be described as gritty, low-light photos.
